Co Apply — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Co Apply (“we”, “us”) is a job-application assistant operated by CodeCubics. It consists of a web
application at coapply.codecubics.com and a companion
Chrome extension (“the co-pilot”) that fills job-application forms in your own browser. This policy
explains what data we handle, how we use it, and who it is shared with.
Data we handle
- Profile & CV information you provide — your name, contact details, work
history, education, skills, and the CV/résumé you upload. You enter or upload this yourself.
- Account authentication — a token that lets the extension act on your behalf
against your own Co Apply account. It is stored locally in the extension and is never shared with
third parties.
- Application activity — the jobs you choose to apply to and the status of those
applications, so you can track them.
We do not collect your browsing history, and the extension does not read or track
activity on websites unrelated to a job application you have chosen to work on.
How the extension uses this data
- When you choose to apply to a job, the co-pilot opens that job’s application page in your browser
and fills the form fields using your profile information.
- You stay in control — you review every application and click Submit yourself.
Nothing is submitted without you.
- The extension only activates on job-application and career sites you direct it to; it requests
access to additional sites only when you grant it.
Who we share it with
- Your Co Apply account — your data is stored in your account on
coapply.codecubics.com so your profile and application history are available across sessions.
- Employers / applicant-tracking systems — when you submit an
application, the details you approved are sent to that employer’s application system, exactly as if
you had typed them in yourself.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or
unrelated third parties.
Permissions the extension requests
storage — save your sign-in token and settings on your device.
activeTab / scripting — fill the application form on the tab you are
applying from.
alarms — periodically check your queue for the next prepared application.
- Access to specific ATS / job-board sites (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, LinkedIn, Indeed,
Workday, etc.) and to coapply.codecubics.com — to read and fill application forms and to communicate
with your Co Apply account. Access to any other site is requested only when you grant it.
Data retention
We keep your profile and application data for as long as your account is active. You can view and
edit your data in the Co Apply web app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated
data at any time using the contact below. Signing out of the extension removes the stored token from
your device.
Your choices
- Access and edit your profile data any time in the Co Apply web app.
- Disconnect the extension (it forgets your token) from the extension’s controls.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data via the contact below.
